The Responsible Persons, such as Building owners, maintenance organisations or leaseholders have an obligation to check and maintain passive fire protection measures. Passive Fire systems need to be maintained in accordance with the building’s fire strategy, design and specification and the approved regulations.
Over the life cycle of a building the intended safety measures can become compromised. Changes to the building including building work, ongoing maintenance, and installation of new systems, extensions or refurbishments can all affect the safety systems. As the responsible person, you have a duty to maintain, audit, record, and verify your building’s safety systems.
Our independently trained Passive Fire Inspectors can inspect completed installations at your building, providing you with a condition report. Our surveyor can inspect recently completed work, historical installation or the wider installation of passive fire systems within your building.
The inspections we complete are designed to validate your systems against the design and specifications and regulations. Where these are not available we can provide a schedule outlining what is in place.
Our reports can be used as auditing records and to plan remediation work required to bring your systems in line with the original design intent and regulation.
