What Does a Retrofit Assessor Do?
Our energy retrofit assessors have the grounded knowledge from a background in building and construction. This expertise ensures they can identify and determine energy-saving measures and reduce carbon emissions to create a more sustainable future for your home. They will review each element of your house, to ensure you get the maximum benefit from having an energy efficiency retrofit.
By taking a whole house, fabric-first approach to improving the energy efficiency of an existing property under PAS2035, other issues from damp and mould to cracks in buildings and ventilation will all be evaluated in the residential Retrofit Assessor’s report. This will also incorporate an Occupancy Assessment to help us understand how you live and use your house, along with your future aspirations for your home.

What is a Retrofit Assessment?
A Retrofit Assessment is the first stage of a residential retrofit. It offers a tailored report specific to your home, rather than a one-fits-all approach. The assessment will also take into consideration, the age of your house, any structural changes or extensions to your property, along with existing or previously installed retrofit works ensuring these have been carried out according to building regulations.
