Air Pressure Testing

We offer two methods of air testing.

For retrofit projects, Air tests should be carried out:

Pre installation to identify the existing buildings performance and recognise potential issues.
During Installation to monitor installation quality and identify leaks.
Post installation to validate the installation and ensure that expected performance is achieved.

Air pressure testing can also be used to:

Identify leaks. Draughts can often be a problem in existing properties leading to discomfort and higher energy bills. Pressure testing can identify where the problem areas to allow remediation works to be completed.
To assess background ventilation. Properties with newly installed energy saving measures will become more airtight. Background ventilation tests will need to be performed to assess if an improvement to the ventilation strategy will be required.
